Opened his outdoor campaign with back-to-back third-place finishes in the 400 Meter Hurdles at the John Jacobs Invitational… Ran back-to-back personal bests of 51.80 and 51.73 in the 400 Hurdles at the Oregon Open and Desert Heat Classic meets… Placed 16th at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in the 400 Meter Hurdles.
2025 Indoor
Competed six times during the indoor season… Set a new personal best in the 800 Meters at the Tyson Invitational… Placed 18th at the Big 12 Championships in the 600 Yards.
2024 Indoors
Broke out as one of the best young sprinters in the Big 12 during his freshman season… Opened his career with a personal-best time of 1:20.46 in the 600 Meters at the Arkansas Invitational… At the Big 12 Championships, Currence ran as the 400 Meter leg of the DMR that won its fourth straight Big 12 title… Added another All-Big 12 honor as a member of the 4x400 Meter Relay and placed ninth in the 600 Yards.

Attended Sandra Day O’Connor High School in Phoenix, Ariz… Earned All-Conference and All-Region honors as a football player… Earned three letters in both football and track.
