IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State goalkeeper AD Franch was named the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week for her performance in leading the Cowgirls to a win over rival Oklahoma last week, it was announced by the conference office today.
A native of Salina, Kan., Franch recorded her eighth shutout of the season with a five-save effort to help 11th-ranked OSU to a 2-0 win over the Sooners in last Friday's regular season finale.
