March 28, 2026 | Cowgirl Soccer
STILLWATER — Oklahoma State hosted two spring exhibition games Saturday at Neal Patterson Stadium, dropping the opening match to Oral Roberts, 1-0, before battling Dallas Baptist to a scoreless draw.
Following Saturday's results, the Cowgirls moved to 3-1-1 this spring.
The first match of the day saw heavy defense early, with the match entering intermission scoreless. ORU ended the stalemate early in the second half with a goal to go up 1-0 in the 46th minute.
The Cowgirls couldn't find the equalizer despite several late shots, and the game ended in favor of ORU.
OSU returned to the pitch Saturday evening to face Dallas Baptist for their second match of the day.
After an impressive save early by goalkeeper Caroline Dill, the Cowgirls had opportunities to score, but the first half ended 0-0 again.
The second half started slow, with both teams playing good defense. An apparent Emily Senatore goal off a rebound in the 58th minute was called off due to offsides; the goal would've given the Cowgirls a 1-0 advantage with under two minutes left to play.
The Cowgirls return to action April 11 at Tulsa before closing out the spring April 18 at home against Pittsburg State.
