Cowgirl Netters Slip By UNLV

LAS VEGAS, Nevada. -- The Oklahoma State women's tennis team won two three-set singles matches to defeat Nevada Las Vegas 5-4 at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Tuesday.
The Cowgirls improved to 4-2 on the season. The loss dropped the Lady Rebels to 7-6.
OSU lost its first two singles matches before storming back to claim wins at the No. 3, 4 and 5 positions. The Cowgirls were led by freshman Linda Faltynkova. Playing at the No. 3 position, Faltynkova won her fourth consecutive match to move to 5-1 on the season.
The Cowgirls also got wins from Ashleigh Dolman and Marketa Chmelova at No. 4 and 5 respectively.
Despite suffering an upset at No. 1 doubles, OSU took two out of three doubles matches to close out the scoring.
The Cowgirls continue their Las Vegas road trip when they take on the Penn
Quakers tomorrow.
