Cowgirl Basketball releases Big 12 schedule

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State women's basketball team's Big 12 schedule for the 2026-27 season is set following the league office's schedule announcement this morning.
As previously announced this summer by the Big 12 opponent matrix, the Cowgirls have home-and-home series set against Kansas, Colorado and Iowa State, with the remaining 12 league opponents split evenly between home and away contests for an 18-game league schedule.
The Pokes finished the 2025-26 season 24-10 with a 12-6 mark in Big 12 play, securing OSU's third top-five finish in league play in four years under head coach Jacie Hoyt.
The Cowgirls enter the 2026-27 season as one of the most anticipated teams in the country after securing the nation's unanimous No. 1 transfer class, featuring five of the top 100 transfers in the nation per the USA Today Top 100, and returning three-time All-Big 12 performer Stailee Heard.
OSU opens league play on the road at Kansas on Dec. 20 before returning home for a nine-day holiday break.
Out of the break, the Pokes enjoy a three-game homestand, beginning with Arizona on Dec. 30, followed by West Virginia on Jan. 3. The homestand concludes with a matchup against Colorado on Jan. 6 before traveling to Ames, Iowa, for a road contest at Iowa State on Jan. 9.
A home game against Kansas on Jan. 13 precedes a two-game road trip to Utah for the Cowgirls, which begins with a matchup in Provo against the Cougars on Jan. 16, followed by a contest in Salt Lake City against Utah on Jan. 19.
OSU returns home for two games inside Gallagher-Iba Arena, first against Cincinnati on Jan. 23, then TCU on Jan. 28. A road trip to Houston awaits on Jan. 31 before the Pokes continue on the road at UCF on Feb. 4.
From there, the Cowgirls head back to Stillwater for a home matchup against Arizona State on Feb. 7, followed by a road contest at Colorado three days later on Feb. 10.
GIA plays host to Kansas State on Feb. 15, before OSU travels south for two games in the Lone Star State, first against Baylor on Feb. 21, then at Texas Tech on Feb. 24 to close out its road slate.
The Big 12 regular season finale comes at home against Iowa State on Feb. 27.
