Cowboys In The NFL: Week Three

STILLWATER – The third slate of 2025 NFL regular season action kicked off this weekend, highlighted by stellar performances from three former Oklahoma State running backs.

Rookie Ollie Gordon II (Fort Worth, TX/Euless Trinity) picked up the first touchdown of his professional career Thursday as his Miami Dolphins narrowly fell 31-21 to their AFC East division-rival Buffalo Bills. The 2025 sixth-round pick produced 9 rushes for 38 yards, career-highs in both statistics. Gordon and the Dolphins are set for a Monday Night Football matchup against the New York Jets this week, with kickoff scheduled for 6:15 p.m. CDT.

Steelers fourth-year running back Jaylen Warren showcased his workhorse abilities in a 21-14 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday, turning a career-high 23 touches into 81 total yards. Warren has received 54 touches through the Steelers' first three games of the season, fully stepping up as the team's lead back. Warren, alongside former Poke Mason Rudolph, and the Steelers take on the Minnesota Vikings next Sunday, 8:30 a.m. CDT, in the first ever NFL regular season game held in Dublin, Ireland.

Star running back Chuba Hubbard's 76 yards on 19 touches helped the Panthers cruise to a dominant 30-0 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Hubbard, who has posted over 1,000 scrimmage yards each of the past two seasons, is on pace to surpass that mark again in 2025. The win was Carolina's first of the new season, a trend they will look to continue next week in New England, with kickoff set for noon CDT.

A pair of Pro Poke duos faced off on Week Four's edition of Monday Night Football, as Tyler Lacy and Malcolm Rodriguez of the Detroit Lions defeated Justice Hill and Tylan Wallace of the Baltimore Ravens, 38-30. Hill, one of the league's premier receivers out of the backfield, caught 3 of his 4 targets for 45 yards.

Hill, Wallace and the Ravens travel to Kansas City next weekend for a high-powered matchup against the Chiefs, with kickoff set for 3:25 p.m. CDT. Lacy, Rodriguez and the Lions look to continue their winning ways next week as they host former OSU offensive lineman Teven Jenkins and the Cleveland Browns at noon CDT.
