September 02, 2025 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State punter Wes Pahl is one of eight punters on the Ray's 8 list for week one of the college football season, announced Tuesday by the Ray Guy Award.
A senior from Columbus, Georgia, Pahl punted four times with a 48.0-yard average in the season-opening win, included long punts of 56 and 52 yards with two downed inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
Last season, Pahl was an honorable mention All-Big 12 performer who set the OSU single-season average yards per punt record (minimum 20 attempts) and would have ranked among the top five in the FBS if he had enough punts to qualify. He averaged 46.4 yards per punt on 25 punts in 2024, with eight punts of 50-plus yards.
Oklahoma State returns to action Saturday, playing its first game in program history at Oregon. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS and Paramount+.
