Cowgirl Soccer’s Morgan Selected In NWSL Draft

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State defender Charmé Morgan became the second NWSL Draft pick in Cowgirl Soccer history Saturday.
Morgan was selected in the second round of the 2022 NWSL Draft with the No. 16 overall pick by Louisville Racing FC. She joins AD Franch, a first-round pick (No. 6 overall) of the Western New York Flash in 2013, as NWSL Draft picks from OSU.
A native of Frisco, Texas, Morgan played five seasons in an OSU uniform and was a three-time all-region and two-time All-Big 12 Conference performer. She played in 98 career games, 86 as a starter, and recorded 11 goals and nine assists while leading the Cowgirls to a pair of Big 12 championships.
