Cowgirls Improve To 4-0 With Win Over Idaho State

STILLWATER, Okla.— Oklahoma State's women's basketball team kept the ball rolling with a 70-52 win against Idaho State inside Gallagher-Iba Arena Tuesday night to improve to 4-0.
Through the first quarter, junior Natasha Mack lead the Cowgirls offensively, hitting three of her five shots from the field en route to seven points in the period.
In the second, the Bengals hit back-to-back 3-pointers and used an 8-0 run to knot the score at 19 apiece.
OSU went into the second half leading 30-24 after holding ISU to a 25 percent shooting effort from the floor and forcing 10 turnovers.
The third quarter saw the Bengals score the first five points of the half to get within one before freshman Lauren Fields answered with a 3-pointer from the wing to push the Cowgirls back in front, 43-37.
OSU outscored ISU 22-13 in the fourth quarter to pull away.
Mack lead the team with 19 points and 10 rebounds for her third career double-double, while Fields added 13 points 5 assists and 4 steals.
Vivian Gray finished with 17 points, six rebounds and five steals.
OSU returns to Gallagher Iba Arena Saturday at 2 p.m. Nov. 23 to host Rice University.
