LUBBOCK, Texas -- Jeffrey Carroll scored a career-high 25 points as Oklahoma State broke its Big 12 Conference losing streak by beating Texas Tech, 83-64 in a Saturday afternoon matchup.

Along with his scoring, Carroll also led the Cowboys in rebounds with nine. He has now scored at least 20 points in each of the last four games and in five of the last six.
Phil Forte, III, tied his career-high of six rebounds and scored 21 points which included 4-of-4 from behind the arc.
The Cowboys' true talent showed against the Red Raiders. In the first half, the Cowboys went 7-of-8 from beyond the arc. Oklahoma State went on three key runs in the first 20 minutes of play that would later pay off.
With 12 minutes remaining, Tech shot 7-of-9 from the field while holding the Cowboys to a five-minute scoring drought.
Tech cut the lead to single digits, but then went on a shooting drought of its own.
The Cowboys shot 55.2 percent from the floor, including 11-of-16 from 3-point range, which is the best mark in school history.
The Red Raiders were led in scoring by Keenan Evans, who scored 15 and Justin Gray snatched a team-high eight rebounds. Devon Thomas and Zach Smith each added 11 points.

The Red Raiders entered Saturday's game with a perfect 12-0 record at home, and had won their last 17 home games.

OSU is 11-5 when leading at the half this season. The Cowboys have outscored their opponents by 84 points in the first half this year.

The win gives Brad Underwood his 100th career victory in his 122nd game, which ties him for the 10th fastest coach to reach his 100th victory in college basketball history.
