NEW ORLEANS - Oklahoma State's women's golf team posted a 14-over 302 during its second round at the rain-shortened Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate to finish tied for 10th place at English Turn Country Club.
With the event shortened to 36 holes after yesterday's round was washed out, the Cowgirls' 20-over total of 596 was good for a tie with Florida at the par-72, 6,105-yard layout. UCLA and Southern California tied for the top spot on the leaderboard at 580 before USC prevailed in a playoff.
Baylor produced the event's individual medalist in Hayley Davis, who carded a 68 to finish at 2-under 140.
OSU's Kelsey Vinesposted her second consecutive runner up, finishing in a three-way tie for second place at 142. The senior followed an opening 72 with a 2-under 70 to earn her third runner up in her last four starts. She also has a victory during that stretch as well, winning the Hurricane Invitational to open the spring slate.
Junior Josephine Janson finished in a tie for 27th place at 149 with her 77, while freshman Julie Yangalso carded a 77 to come in tied for 51st place.
Junior Jayde Panos' 82 tied her for 70th place at 156.
Freshman Megan Blonienwas a stroke off the pace of her teammate at 157 after signing for a 78 to tie for 74th place.
OSU will return to action on March 4 at the Bruin Wave Invitational in Tarzana, Calif.
