Cowgirls Pick Up Two Wins In Houston

HOUSTON - The Oklahoma State soccer team opened its spring exhibition season Saturday with a pair of 1-0 wins as the Cowgirls knocked off LSU and host Rice.
Taylor Mathews' goal was the difference against LSU, while Krista Lopez scored the only goal in the match against Rice.
Goalie AD Franch recorded the shutout against the Tigers, while Franch and Keely Kippenberger combined to keep the Owls off the scoreboard in the second contest.
OSU returns to exhibition action Saturday when the Cowgirls host Arkansas at 11 a.m. and North Texas at 5 p.m.
