Cowgirls Move To Fourth At Longhorn Invite

AUSTIN, Texas - Oklahoma State's women's golf team posted a 305 during its second round at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational on Tuesday to drop one spot into fourth place at the University of Texas Golf Club.
With their 17-over score, the Cowgirls stand at 19-over 595 through 36 holes at the par-72, 6,344-yard layout. OSU will begin tomorrow's final round one shot behind Tulsa for third place and six behind Florida for second place. Tournament host Texas fired a 293 on Tuesday to move into first place at 581.
Florida's Mia Piccio carded a 70 to stand at 141 and two shots clear of the field in the individual race with 18 holes to play.
Junior Kelsey Vines led the way for OSU, finishing the day tied for sixth place at 145 after carding a 75 during her second round.
Sophomore Amy Ruengmateekhun followed an opening 71 with a 77 to finish at 148 and tied for 20th place.
Sophomore Josephine Janson fired the squad's round of the day with a 73 to stand at 151 and move into a tie for 33rd place.
Sophomore Jayde Panos carded an 84 for a 156 tally to stand in a tie for 55th place, while junior Hillary Wood's 80 tied her for 64th place at 157.
The Cowgirls will close out the event tomorrow starting at 8:45 a.m. (CST). OSU will be grouped with Pepperdine and UNLV.
