New Service Offered To Oklahoma State Athletic Ticket Holders

STILLWATER, Okla. — With the start of the 2008-09 sports season, Oklahoma State has partnered with Ticketmaster to provide loyal Cowboy and Cowgirl fans with an exciting new opportunity. OSU ticket holders who cannot make a home contest may sell their tickets to other fans using Ticketmaster's new TeamExchange program.
“We continue to push the envelope with premium services offered to our fan base,” said Craig Clemons, OSU Assoc. AD, External Affairs and Development. “As ticket holders may have conflicts with regards to a home contest, they can recapture associated monies and ensure a fan will be sitting in their seat for home field or home court advantage”.
Tickets bought and sold through TeamExchange are guaranteed to be valid for entry, something no other secondary market provider can offer.
Sellers may set the value of the tickets to any price over the face value of the ticket, which allows buyers to access the best seats possible at whatever price they are willing to pay. The seller then receives the monetary credit for their sale with the OSU ticket office, money than can be used to purchase tickets for other sporting events, as well as towards next year's season tickets.
OSU Athletics is excited to offer this product to their fans as a way to provide the best ticketing experience possible. This service will continue for all ticketed OSU sports excluding women's soccer.
