Cowboys Run Past Mercer, 104-74

Oklahoma State (7-3) hadn't played at Gallagher-Iba Arena since Nov. 23 after opening the season with four home games. Anderson, Obi Muonelo (19), Terrel Harris (18), Keiton Page (13), Byron Eaton (12) and Malcoln Kirkland (10) each scored in double figures for the Cowboys.
Junior guard James Florence led Mercer (6-4) with 27 points.
The Cowboys utilized a full-court press throughout most of the game and forced 25 Mercer turnovers with 19 steals, tying a school record. Meanwhile, OSU turned the ball over just 10 times, leading to a 41-14 scoring margin in points scored off turnovers.
Both teams put on a shooting display at the free-throw line as Oklahoma State made 20-of-21 while Mercer made 19-of-21 from the charity stripe. Both teams shot over 90 percent from the line.
Anderson made six 3-pointers, tying his career high, in eight attempts from behind the arc.
Oklahoma State returns to action on Saturday as the Cowboys face Rhode Island (8-3) in the first game of the O'Reilly All-College Classic at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
