2002: Hix played in five games and made seven tackles, six solo and one assisted, along with a fumble recovery and a sack. Had one solo tackle against Texas A&M and had an assisted tackle against SMU. Hix recorded two tackles against Northern Iowa, along with his first sack of the season for a loss of nine yards. His first solo tackle of the year came in the season opener against Louisiana Tech.
2001: His redshirt season at Oklahoma State.
High School: A three-year starter for Dickson, Hix earned honorable mention All-State honors from both the Daily Oklahoman and the Tulsa World. He was also listed among the top-20 Oklahoma prospects by First Down Sports, and was named the Most Valuable Player at Jay Novaceks camp. Hix was also recruited by Missouri, Oklahoma, LSU and Texas A&M.
Personal: Born July 24, 1983, Kyle is the son of Bill and Beverly Hix. He has one brother, Matt. Kyle is majoring in hotel & restaurant management at Oklahoma State.
