Cowboys Finish Eighth At Las Vegas Intercollegiate

Oklahoma State's golf team finished in eighth place after shooting a team score of 292 during the final round at the Las Vegas Intercollegiate on Sunday.
The Cowboys' four-over-par team score on Sunday gave them a three-day total of 14-over and dropped them out of a tie for third place. Georgia Tech finished first with a 20-under total of 844
Matt McQuillan turned in his second consecutive round under par for the Cowboys. After shooting a four-under score of 68 yesterday, McQuillan fired a 71 on Sunday to finish tied for 16th place.
Junior Anders Hultman shot a 75 on Sunday to finish three-over for the tournament and in a five-way tie for 23rd place.
Included in the group with Hultman was fellow Cowboy Boyd Summerhays. Summerhays shot a three-under-par 69 to move up from 31st place. The sophomore's final round included a hole-in-one with an eight iron on the Rio Secco Golf Club's 183-yard third hole.
Par Nilsson and J.C. DeLeon carded a 77 and a 78 respectively to finish in a tie for 53rd place with three-day totals of 228.
The Cowboys will return to action on March 26 at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate in Austin, Texas.
