Cowboy Tennis Signs Two More for 2018-2019 Season

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State men's tennis team signed two more players to their 2018-2019 roster this week including Matej Vocel and Dylan Bednarczyk.

Matej Vocel will join the Cowboys next fall after spending time competing on the international scene. Vocel, the right-handed Czech Republic native, is ranked No. 935 in singles and No. 401 in doubles by the ATP. Vocel brings a great deal in international success to the team as he recently advanced to the quarterfinals of the Czech Republic F9 Futures where he took on the No. 360 ranked Petr Michnev in an exciting three set battle.

"I chose Oklahoma State because of very friendly teammates and coaches," Vocel said. "They also have great conditions for practicing to be the best tennis player."

Dylan Bednarczyk will transfer to Oklahoma State in the fall from the University of Nebraska where he played as their No. 1 or 2 singles player. Bednarczyk is a left-hander hailing from Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada.
