STILLWATER – A pair of four-star recruits from South Miami High School are headed to Gallagher-Iba Arena. Oklahoma State basketball coach Brad Underwood signed teammates Zack Dawson and Latravian Glover to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday.
The Cowboys open the 2016-17 season and the Underwood era on Friday when they host Campbell. Underwood boasts an 89-14 record, which ties him for the most wins in the first three seasons of a coaching career in college basketball history.

ESPN ranks Dawson as a four-star recruit and the No. 70 player in the country regardless of position. ESPN also lists him as the No. 15 point guard in the country and the No. 4 overall player in the state of Florida. Rivals.com and 247 Sports also listed Dawson as a four-star recruit.

He Was one of just three players from Florida selected to participate in the Pangos All American Camp in Los Angeles, and he played his AAU ball for EYBL Nike South Beach. Dawson Chose the Cowboys over offers from Arizona, Iowa State, Kansas State, Louisville, South Carolina, TCU and USC, among others.
Underwood on Dawson
"He's one of the elite players, not only in the state of Florida, but in the country. Zach doesn't know how good he can be yet. He's a guy who has great length and he's a very good shooter. He has great athleticism, and he is highly competitive, motorized, and I use that in a very positive way. His motor is nonstop and all he wants to do is become great, and that excites me about Zach. He's a winner. We look for those characteristics, and Zach was the first to jump on board with us with a commitment and we've been ecstatic ever since that day. He has the opportunity to come in here and contribute right away for us."
• Latravian Glover – 6-7 – 215 – Forward – Miami, Fla. (South Miami HS)
Ranked by ESPN as a four-star recruit and the No. 35 power forward in the country, Glover is regarded as the No. 15 overall player in the state of Florida. 247Sports lists Glover as the No. 31 player in Florida regardless of position.
Teammates with fellow Cowboy signee Zack Dawson, who also ranks as a four-star recruit. Glover and Dawson combined to lead South Miami to the semifinals of the Florida Class 8A state semifinals, and also played together on the EYBL Nike South Beach squad.
FloridaHoops.com currently lists Glover as the No. 7 small forward of the state's 2017 class.
He was selected to the 2015 Nike Elite 100 squad following his sophomore year of high school, as well as the CourtCred.com Super Sophomore Top 40 roster. Future150, Scout and Rivals all list Glover as a three-star recruit.
Underwood on Glover
"We really feel that Latravian was one of the top prospects in the state of Florida prior to having an ACL knee injury. It's not fair for me to say this, but he's a guy who has kind of like a Lebron James-type game; big, strong and extremely high basketball IQ. He's a very good athlete that is not back at 100-percent yet, but he can shoot it, handle it and score in the paint. I think he has the opportunity, when healthy, to be as good of a player as there is in this league. Athletically and physically, he's just a specimen. He is a guy who can play multiple positions, has tremendous IQ and has great feel of the game. His best days are in front of him, and we're excited to have him."
