Max Koller

Koller comes to Stillwater after spending last season in the same capacity for the men's program at UC Santa Barbara.

This past season, Koller helped the Gauchos to a 22-4 mark and a Big West title. Additionally, UC Santa Barbara had five players earn all-league honors, including the conference player of the year in Phillip Jordan.

Koller served as the volunteer assistant for the men's program at Oklahoma during the 2021-22 campaign.

Prior to his arrival in Norman, Koller worked as the assistant coach for Stetson from 2019-21. He was selected to represent Stetson as one of 12 collegiate coaches in the ITA National Mentorship Program designed for the nation's best up-and-coming coaches.

From January of 2018 to June 2019, Koller served as Bethune Cookman University's assistant coach for both the men's and women's tennis programs. In his first season with the Wildcats, Koller helped the men's team to its first HBCU national championship in program history.

In the junior ranks, Koller has worked with high-level national junior players at the John Hudson Tennis Academy in Daytona Beach, Florida. He served as the primary coach for the top-ranked player in the state of Florida and directed UTR/ITA level tournaments. Koller traveled as a national coach for the USTA Florida section to various team events as well.
A 2017 graduate of the University of Florida, Koller received his bachelor's degree in history with a minor in innovation.

During his time in Gainesville, he served as a student assistant for the then-top-ranked University of Florida women's tennis team with the Gators also winning the SEC title with Koller on staff.

A Daytona Beach native, Koller recently earned a Master of Science degree in leadership from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
