2025 Outdoors
Opened her outdoor season with a massive personal best in the 5,000 Meters, clocking a time of 15:41.75 at the Stanford Invitational, which was third in program history at the time… Placed third at the Oregon Team Invitational in the 5K, earning 12 massive points for the Cowgirls… Competed at the Bg 12 Outdoor Championships in the 5,000 and 10,000 Meters… Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in the 5K.
2025 Indoors
Set a new personal best in the 3,000 Meters in her second meet of the season at the Razorback Invitational with her time of 9:07.47… Competed at the Big 12 Indoor Championships in both the 3,000 and 5,000 Meters.
2024 Cross Country
Opened the cross country season with her second consecutive third-place finish at the Cowboy Jamboree with her time of 20:37.2… Was OSU’s third scorer at the Wisconsin Pre-National meet, helping the Cowgirls to a 12th-place finish as a team… At the Big 12 Cross Country Championships, Lagat once again was OSU’s third scorer as she finished directly behind teammates Sivan Auerbach and Josphine Mwaura as the trio went 14-15-16 to lead the Cowgirls to a fourth-place team finish… Earned All-Region honors as she finished seventh at the regional meet, helping the Cowgirls win their third consecutive regional title by 15 points over Minnesota… Was the Cowgirls’ top finisher at the NCAA Championships, finishing 72nd overall.
2024 Outdoors
Opened her first outdoor campaign with a second-place finish at the Stanford Invitational with a time of 15:48.95 in the 5,000 Meters, which put her fourth on OSU’s all-time outdoor list… Earned All-Big 12 honors with a sixth-place performance in the 5,000 Meters at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships… Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims, placing 23rd overall.
2024 Indoors
Competed in three meets during her inaugural indoor season… Set her current personal bests in the Mile and 3,000 Meters at the Eagle Elite Invitational in Boston with times of 4:51.43 and 9:19.77, respectively… Earned a pair of All-Big 12 honors in the 3,000 and 5,000 Meters, scoring a combined nine points for the Cowgirls in her first Big 12 Championship races.
2023 Cross Country
In her first career race as a Cowgirl, Lagat placed third at the Cowboy Jamboree behind only All-American teammates Billah Jepkirui and Molly Born, helping the Cowgirls secure the meet victory with a near-perfect score of 16.
