Cowboys In Control Through 36 Holes At Maridoe Collegiate

Day 1 Results
CARROLLTON, Texas – Oklahoma State's men's golf team fired an even-par total of 576 on Monday to open play at the Maridoe Collegiate to hold a 14-shot lead through 36 holes at Maridoe Golf Club.
The Cowboys opened play with a 5-under 283 before following with a 293 during their afternoon round at the par-72, 7,569-yard layout. Arizona State finished the day in second place with its 590 total.
OSU went 1-2-3 in the individual standings as well,
Junior Ethan Fang fired rounds of 68 and 72 to stand at 4-under 140 and two shots clear of classmate Preston Stout.
Fang's opening round included a bogey-free front nine with a birdie at the sixth. He would tally birdies at Nos. 12, 13 and 14 before carding his lone bogey at the 16th. Fang would close his round with a birdie at the 18th.
Stout opened with a 69 before posting a 73 during his second round to finish the day at 142.
Junior Eric Lee wrapped up the day tied for third place, posting rounds of 70 and 73 for his 143 total.
Redshirt freshman Collin Bond is competing individually and posted rounds of 73 and 78 for a 151 total to tie for 23rd place.
Junior Gaven Lane posted scores of 76 and 75 to finish the day at 151 as well.
Sophomore Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson came in tied for 36th place at 154 with rounds of 76 and 78.
