STILLWATER – Oklahoma State freshman Yu-Chu Chen has been named to the Taiwan Women's National Team for the 31st World Amateur Team Championships.
The biennial tournament takes place next week, Oct. 1-4, at the Tanah Merah Country Club in Singapore. Thirty-six countries will send a three-player team to compete in the 4-round, 72-hole stroke play event. Each round, the team's two lowest scores will count toward its daily score. The country with the lowest total 72-hole score is crowned champion and receives the Espirito Santo Trophy.
