Fallah named to Big 12's weekly Starting Five
December 08, 2025 | Cowboy Basketball
STILLWATER -- Back-to-back 20-point performances have landed Oklahoma State's Parsa Fallah a spot on this week's Big 12 Starting Five.
Fallah – a 6-foot-10 forward from Amol, Iran – is the first Cowboy to win a weekly award under the new format, which pairs the traditional player and newcomer of the week with three other top performers.
In two games last week, Fallah averaged 24.5 points and 6.5 rebounds, highlighted by a season-high 25 points in Saturday's neutral court win over Grand Canyon in Phoenix that pushed OSU to 9-0 for the first time since 2006.
Fallah made 18 of his 22 field goal attempts (.818) to raise his season shooting percentage to 68.5% -- a mark that ranks eighth nationally. He's also averaging 14.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game, emerging as a centerpiece for a Cowboy team that continues to turn heads nationally.
Oklahoma State (9-0) enters the week as one of only eight Division I unbeatens. The Cowboys received 54 votes in Monday's Associated Press Poll – just two spots and 25 votes shy of their first top 25 appearance since March 2021.
Oklahoma State is back in action Saturday with a Bedlam basketball doubleheader against Oklahoma at the Paycom Center. The men's teams tip at Noon CT, followed by the women at 3 p.m. To purchase seats in OSU fan sections, visit okstate.com/BedlamOKC.
