LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Oklahoma State Softball head coach Kenny Gajewski was elected the new National Fastpitch Coaches Association President, the Association announced on Tuesday.

Gajewski is one of five members who were voted to the NFCA's Board of Directors for 2026. The five members will officially begin their three-year terms on January 1, 2026.

"It's an honor to be voted in by your peers and to represent the NFCA," Gajewski said. "The NFCA is a group I feel very strongly about, and I enjoy working with. It's exciting to represent Oklahoma State and our conference, and I'm looking forward to the opportunity that my term will have."

Gajewski previously served on the NFCA NCAA Division I All-America committee, which is responsible for evaluating and selecting the nation's top performers each season.

In his new role as President, Gajewski will help guide the organization's strategic vision, oversee key initiatives that advance the sport and serve as a national voice for collegiate softball coaches across all divisions.

Entering his 11th season as the head coach of the Cowgirls, Gajewski has guided OSU to the NCAA Tournament every year and has led the Cowgirls to five trips to the Women's College World Series. He's steered the Cowgirls to 400 victories and brought OSU its first conference title in the Big 12 era with a win over then-No. 1 Oklahoma at the 2022 Big 12 Softball Championship. His Oklahoma State student-athletes have earned 16 NFCA All-America honors and 50 NFCA All-Region honors.

Gajewski is the 15th coach to serve as NFCA President and the second from the Big 12 Conference (Rhonda Revelle, Nebraska; 1999-2002).
