Ethan Fang Named Big 12 Golfer of the Month

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's Ethan Fang has been tabbed as the Big 12 Golfer of the Month for September it was announced today by the league office.
Fang opened the season for the Cowboys with his first career win, tying for first place at the Carmel Cup. The junior followed an opening 71 with rounds of 65 and 69 to finish at 11-under 205. In the process, he helped the Cowboys to a runner-up showing in the team race.
The Plano, Texas native also competed as a member of the American side at the Walker Cup, helping the U.S. to victory over the Great Britain and Ireland squad at Cypress Point.
Fang was in the field at the PGA Tour's Procore Championship before returning to the OSU lineup at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational. Individually, he tied for ninth place with a 1-under total of 209, which included rounds of 71, 72 and 66. His final round score helped the Cowboys erase a 10-shot deficit to earn their first win of the fall.
It marked the first monthly honor of Fang's career and he is the second consecutive Cowboy to take home monthly honors, joining Preston Stout from April 2025.
