Cowboy Tennis Earns Spot In Arizona Regional

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State men's tennis team earned a third-seed placement in the Arizona Region for the Division I Men's Tennis Championships, per the NCAA Monday.
In its first-round meeting, the Cowboys will face the Florida Gators out of the Southeastern Conference.
The region's top-seed, Arizona posted a 21-6 record, with a 6-2 record in the Pac-12. The Wildcats defeated 12 ranked opponents during the 2023 campaign, before falling to 19th-ranked Utah in the conference semifinals.
The Gators finished the season with a 14-13 record, going 5-7 in conference play. At the SEC tournament, they defeated the then-No. 22-Auburn, 4-1, before falling to the No. 4-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, 4-0.
OSU returns to the tournament after finishing the season 13-13. The Cowboys defeated five ranked opponents during the season, highlighted by a 4-3 victory over Texas Tech at the Big 12 Championship to advance to the conference semifinals.
The Mountain West conference tournament champions, Boise State, finished with a 21-7 record. The Broncos downed the Utah State Aggies, 4-2, en route to its 17th conference title in program history.
The Arizona Regional begins May 5 and goes until May 7, with match times to be announced.
