Cowboy Tennis Set to Host ITA Regionals

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team will play host to the 2023 ITA Central Region Championships from Wednesday through Sunday at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
Ninety-nine student-athletes are set to compete in singles and doubles, with the first matches beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Oklahoma State will feature nine of its 12 rostered players in the draw, including Leighton Allen, Alessio Basile, Isaac Becroft, Alex Garcia, Carl Roothman, Erik Schiessl, Ty Wunderlich, Goran Zgola and Tyler Zink.
The singles round of 128 and round of 64 will be played Wednesday. The following rounds will be played at a time to be announced. Doubles action will commence after the conclusion of singles, with the first match starting at 5 p.m.
The top two players in singles and doubles pairings will earn a bid to ITA Fall Nationals at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego from November 1-5. The Championships will be the finale to the fall season and will feature the top 32 singles players and top 32 doubles teams.
