Miller, Mitchell Earn NCEA Honors

WACO, Texas – Team captains Sarah Miller and Hannah Mitchell of Oklahoma State's third-ranked Equestrian team earned NCEA Rider of the Month honors for March, it was released today.

Miller won Shorty's Horsemanship Rider of the Month after posting a 3-0 record with one MOP in March. She set her season-high score with a 76.5 at Delaware State, then matched it again a day later against South Dakota State.

The senior had an average score of 76.1 throughout March and outscored her opponents by an average of five points.

Mitchell also went 3-0 in March with one MOP en route to earning Shorty's NCEA Reining Rider of the Month accolades. The junior set a new season-high with a score of 74 against No. 9 Fresno State.

This is Mitchell's second NCEA Rider of the Month honor this season. The junior also received the honor last October for her standout performances.
