FORT WORTH, TEXAS—The Oklahoma State men's basketball team's comeback attempt fell short against TCU, as the Horned Frogs defeated the Cowboys, 70-68, on Wednesday night.

Yor Anei led the Cowboys' efforts, as he scored 20 points and collected five rebounds. The freshman's 20-point performance was the first of his season and set a new career high.

Anei added two blocks, bringing his season total to 44. He is now in the school's top 20 in blocks in a season.

The Cowboys (9-13, 2-7 Big 12) were down by as many as 13 points in the second half, but clawed their way back into the game. OSU went on a 24-4 run over a span of 8:40. The run gave the Cowboys a seven-point lead and ended began with 14:55 remaining in the final half of play.

After TCU (16-6, 4-5 Big 12) got back in the game and led by three points in the closing moments, Thomas Dziagwa hit a contested corner 3 with 5.6 seconds left to tie the game at 68. He made four of his seven 3-point attempts.

TCU's JD Miller made a running jumper with Anei's lengthy arm in his view to win the game for TCU.

Isaac Likekele scored 17 points for OSU. He also assisted on seven made shots and grabbed three rebounds.

The Cowboys dominated the paint, 36-22, thanks to Anei's 7-for-7 shooting performance.
