Dziagwa Posts Career Bests Against Texas

AUSTIN, Texas—Thomas Dziagwa had a career day, as the Oklahoma State men's basketball lost to Texas, 69-57, on Saturday.

The senior guard put up career highs in points and 3-point makes. Dziagwa scored 23 points and made seven shots from behind the arc. He also collected four rebounds and knocked down a pair of free throws.

The last time a Cowboy made more shots from behind the 3-point line was when Keiton Paige connected on nine 3's against Oklahoma on Feb. 22, 2012.

Isaac Likekele also put up a double-digit scoring performance. He scored 16 points, making six of his 11 field goal attempts.

Likekele has seen success in both of his matchups against the Longhorns. With today's game he is now averaging 12 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists against Texas.

Texas used a 14-4 run in the first half and another 10-4 run in the second half to fend off the Cowboys. Kerwin Roach and Dylan Osetkowski led the way for the Longhorns. The pair combined for 30 points.

Yor Anei blocked three shots, marking the ninth time he has rejected at least three shots this season. He now sits at 52 blocks, which puts him at No. 22 in OSU's career shot-blocking list.
