Cowboy Duo Falls in ITA Central Regional Finals

MINNEAPOLIS - Oklahoma State's Artur Dubinski and Eleftherios Theodorou fell in the finals today at the ITA Central Region Championship to Minnesota's Spec and Corwin.
The Cowboy duo reached the finals today after defeating Miroslav Herzan and Andrea Caligiana of Wichita State in the semifinals, 6-2, 6-2.
Dubinski and Theodorou battled hard against the Minnesota duo in the finals but were defeated in a tiebreaker, 6-3, 4-6 (10-6).
Senior Tristan Meraut also fell today in the singles quarterfinals to Bedlam-rival Ferran Calvo of Oklahoma. The match-up was full of action with the pair splitting the first two sets, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (1), but Meraut lost in the final set, 6-1.
