Adamovic Selected to ITA Masters Tournament

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State women's tennis senior Katarina Adamovic has been selected to compete at the Oracle/ITA Masters, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced Monday.
The Oracle/ITA Masters features 32 of the elite singles players from around the country. The event is set to be held Oct. 13-16 at Malibu Racquet Club in Malibu, Calif. Last season, Adamovic's teammate Viktoriya Lushkova advanced to the tournament's quarterfinals.
Adamovic is coming off an impressive junior season that saw the Cacak, Serbia product earn her first-career All-American honors in advancing to the NCAA singles quarterfinals. Adamovic went 23-11 overall in singles, helping the Cowgirls to an NCAA finals appearance. She was named the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player, while also garnering All-Big 12 accolades. Adamovic would end the season ranked No. 17 in the ITA singles rankings.
Adamovic and the Cowgirls open the fall season on Sept. 16 when they head to Newport, R.I., to compete at the Hall of Fame Grass Court Invitational.
