Ten Cowboys Head to Joe Parisi Open

STILLWATER – Ten Cowboys will travel to St. Charles, Mo., this weekend to compete at the Joe Parisi Open, hosted by Lindenwood University at Hyland Arena.
Lincoln Olson (133), Tristan Moran (141), Jonce Blaylock (149), Geordan Martinez (149, unattached), Dalton Moran (157), Jacobe Smith (174, unattached), Andrew Marsden (184, unattached), Derek White (197) and Blake Andrews (285, unattached) are each set to compete in the Gold open division, while Ethan Andersen (285, unattached) will compete in the Black freshman and sophomore division.
The Cowboys have wrestled well in their two previous open tournaments this season, racking up six titles at the season-opening OCU Open before sweeping the Outlaw Open in Yukon last week with 10 Pokes taking home top honors.
Last year at the Joe Parisi Open, Joe Smith and Chandler Rogers were victorious, claiming titles at 157 pounds and 174 pounds, respectively.

The Cowboys will return to dual action next weekend when they travel to Minneapolis, Minn., to take on No. 16 Minnesota on Nov. 27 at 1 p.m.
