Two Additional Cowboy Basketball Games Slated For National TV

STILLWATER – Two additional Oklahoma State basketball games were selected for national television broadcasts, bringing the total to 21 games and counting on the ESPN family of networks for the Cowboys in 2015-16.

OSU's trip to Auburn as a part of the annual Big 12/SEC Challenge presented by SONIC is slated to air on ESPN2 on Jan. 30. ESPNU will carry the Cowboys' non-conference matchup against Longwood at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m.

The Cowboys split games with South Carolina in a home-and-home series during the first two years of the Big 12/SEC Challenge, each of which were won by the Big 12.

OSU and Auburn previously met three times, with the Cowboys winning the most recent matchup in 2006 at South Padre Island, Texas, as part of the South Padre Invitational.

Since 2007, the Cowboys have posted a 3-3 record between the two conference challenge series they have played with the SEC and Pac-12.Â

The matchup against Longwood will be the first meeting between the two programs, and the first national TV appearance in Lancer basketball history.

Additional television games for the Cowboys are expected to be announced over the coming weeks.
