Cowgirls Finish Third At Bruin Wave Invite

TARZANA, Calif. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team carded a 312 at the Bruin Wave Invitational on Tuesday to finish third at El Caballero Country Club.
The Cowgirls finished with a 54-hole total of 911 at the par-72, 6,131-yard layout to come in six shots behind runner-up UCLA. Pepperdine posted a 315 during its closing round to edge the Bruins by two shots at 903.
San Diego State's Christine Wong closed with a 78 to claim medalist honors, finishing four shots clear of the field at 219.
OSU sophomores Josephine Janson and Jayde Panos each cracked the top 10, tying for eighth place at 228. Janson closed with a 75, while Panos finished play with an 82.
Junior Kelsey Vines closed with an 81 to tie for 17th at 232, while senior Jocelyn Alford also finished at 232 after carding a 76 during her third round.
Sophomore Amy Ruengmateekhun posted an 80 to tie for 23rd place at 234.
The Cowgirls will be back in action on March 19 when they travel to St. George, Utah for the BYU at Entrada Classic.
