I chose to attend Oklahoma State because: I wanted to wrestle on the No. 1 team in the country and wrestle for the best coach in the country.
If I were to describe myself as a person, I would say: I am outgoing, love to meet new people, I love to laugh and have fun. I would do anything for my friends and family.
I would describe John Smith: As being the best coach in the country hands down. He is a great guy, he's outgoing and always helps his wrestlers get to the next level.
My favorite thing about being in Stillwater is: It's not as crowded as Dallas. I almost pulled my hair out every day in Dallas. It's overpopulated there.
My favorite thing about being a wrestler at Oklahoma State is: I get to be part of the greatest and biggest tradition in both collegiate and professional sports.
If I was talking to someone who didn't know about wrestling and they asked me about the Oklahoma State wrestling program, I would say: OSU has won 34 national championships and that no one else even comes close to that.
I have been told that I look like: People always ask if me and Ben are twins.
If I could compete in any other sport besides wrestling, it would be: Football.
If I could trade places with anyone in the world for a day, it would be: Bill Gates.
The thing that inspires me when I compete is: Big crowds are looking over in my corner and seeing an Olympic champion coaching me.
The proudest moment of my life so far was: Winning my second straight Fargo national title. The first one was nice but winning juniors was so much bigger. I was the first Texan to ever win Fargo in both divisions.
When I'm not wrestling or in school, I enjoy: Playing video games or hanging out with the guys.
