2004 Fall Season: Posted a combined 4-5 record in singles action ... primarily competed in the second flights during tournament action ... teamed with Sandra Blajer in doubles play ... posted a combined 5-3 doubles record, winning five in a row during the season ... claimed top flight honors at the UNLV Invitational Tournament ... teamed with Blajer to defeat Oklahoma's Baxley and Griffin in the ITA Tournament Round of 32 ... advanced to the Doubles Round of 16 at the Regional Tournament.

According to Coach: “Jana is a very sensitive player. She likes to force the game and hit the ball hard, sometimes overpowering her opponent. She is very young. She doesn't like to lose. She has only been here for one semester, but has already put some good matches behind her (during the fall). She is learning the system and has begun to adjust her power game down a bit. Jana is going to end up as a very good college tennis player.”
