Celebrity Alumni Classic Slated for Sept. 11

STILLWATER, Okla. - The OSU Celebrity Alumni Classic is back after taking a year off.
This year's event will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, in conjunction with the OSU-Tulsa football game and the OSU Orange Peel festivities.
Former OSU standouts will take to the field at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium for a benefit softball game one hour after completion of the OSU-TU football game. Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m. with the OSU Celebrity Alumni Classic beginning at approximately 3:30 p.m. All proceeds will go to the OSU Foundation Disadvantaged Youth Fund and the Stillwater Area United Way.
A "draft" to select team players will take place Friday night in Eskimo Joe's Outback with the public invited to attend and collect autographs from former Cowboy and Cowgirl standouts. Stillwater National Bank & Trust Company and Coca-Cola are the title sponsors of the charity event. Other OSU Celebrity Alumni Classic sponsors include Eskimo Joe's, Peak Cablevision, The NewsPress, DuPree Sports, Stillwater Radio and the OSU Athletics Department.
