STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Glendon Alexander scored 19 points as No. 21 Oklahoma State routed North Texas 103-65 on Saturday night.
Brian Montonati had 14 points and a career-high 15 rebounds in 26 minutes. Desmond Mason had 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Doug Gottlieb had 16 assists and 13 points.
Frederik Jonzen added 15 points, and Alex Webber scored a dozen for the Cowboys (4-0), who shot close to 60 percent and outrebounded North Texas 58-46.
The Cowboys started slowly and only led 9-8 after the first three minutes. But they eventually got going, taking advantage of poor shooting by North Texas (0-2) to build a 21-point halftime lead.
Oklahoma State continued to pour it on in the second half, opening as much as a 40-point lead.
Chris Davis scored 19 points and Kyle Crawford had 14 for North Texas, which shot just 33 percent and committed 24 turnovers.
