OSU Athletics 2019 Hall of Fame Block Party Car Show
Calling all Cowboy Car Buffs!!!
The Athletic Department is looking for orange and OSU-themed vehicles to display during the Hall of Fame Block Party in a "Cowboy Car Show" before the OSU – Baylor Homecoming game Saturday, October 19th, outside Boone Pickens Stadium. Got an orange hot rod? A tricked-out truck? Decked out motorcycle? Sporty sports car? A Cowboy chopper? Fill out the form below... General Details:
• Athletics will choose 15-20 vehicles to participate in the Car Show to park in the Hall of Fame Block Party prior to the OSU vs. Baylor homecoming football game. OSU-branded or OSU-inspired cars wanted – may include: classic or modified cars, trucks, motorcycles, vans, SUVs and other interesting vehicles. Not all vehicles will be chosen due to the limited amount of space. You will be informed by Friday, October 11th if you will be participating in the car show or not. Entry Form Deadline
• Submit entry form and photos of your vehicles by Monday, October 7th at midnight.
Rules:
• Car show will officially open 3 hours prior to kickoff and close at kickoff.
• The vehicle will be displayed in the South (eastbound) lanes of Hall of Fame Ave. between Washington and Knoblock in the Hall of Fame Block Party north of Boone Pickens Stadium.
• Cars are for display purposes only. If a vehicle is normally used for tailgating, it cannot be used to tailgate on this day.
• Parking of vehicles will be scheduled 4.5 prior to kickoff. All vehicles must be present at “park time” in order to ensure their car gets parked in the block party.
• Leave Time: The earliest vehicles can leave is 15 minutes following kickoff. All vehicles must be removed from Hall of Fame Ave no later than three hours following the completion of the game.
• As a reminder, we have a No Re-entry Policy. So if you decide to attend the game, keep that in mind as you will not be able to leave the stadium to check on your car and then go back into the game.
• Tickets to the football game will NOT be provided to participants of the car show, but prizes will be awarded courtesy of OSU Athletics.
• We cannot accommodate school bus-sized vehicles.
• At least one 1 photo will be requested by email after your registration is submitted.
• Vehicle must be clean and “show” ready.
Security:
OSU will provide a staff member to watch the vehicles throughout the car show until the game kicks off. After that time the cars will be unsupervised by OSU and left at your own risk.
Prizes:
• Participant’s cars will be displayed on the video board during the football game.
• Trophies will be given out for 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place and Fan Favorite.
