Daniel Lawson, 21, junior guard from Detroit, played in two of the first three games last season, then sat out the rest of the year. He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Phyllis Lawson; two brothers, Eric Jordan and Austin Jordan; and two sisters, Karen Jordan and Shynika Lawson.
