TULSA, Okla. - The Oklahoma State men's cross country team landed four runners in the top eight at the Hurricane Festival en route to winning duals against Tulsa, Oklahoma, Oral Roberts, Texas, Oklahoma Wesleyan and Oklahoma Baptist. Sophomore Johnathan Stublaski led the way for the Cowboys, finishing the four-mile race in 19:57. Stublaski's time was good for a second-place showing. Daniel Watts finished fourth with a time of 20:05, two seconds ahead of teammate Ryan Prentice. Ryan Fleming also finished in the top eight after posting a time of 20:30. Peter Wood posted a 13th-place finish to round out the Cowboy runners. The Cowgirl cross country team finished its two-mile race in second place, 10 points behind host Tulsa. Five Cowgirls posted top-16 finishes, including Victoria Fratczak's seventh-place finish. She recorded a time of 11:23. Freshman Kate Kujawa finished two seconds behind Fratczak for an eighth-place showing. Teran Mixon finished the course in 11:33 for 11th place, while Jacqueline Campos and Melanie Funke rounded out the Cowgirls in the top 16. 2009 Hurricane Festival Men Individual Results
