STILLWATER - The Oklahoma State men's and women's track and field teams have eight members nationally ranked according to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association rankings released Tuesday morning. For the Cowgirls, Natalja Piliusina remains the top-ranked female in the 800 meters and Chase Ealey moves down to No. 32 in the women's shot put. For the Cowboys, Kirubel Erassa (13th) and Raul Botezan (14th) remain in the top 15 in the men's mile. In the 3,000 meters, Tom Farrell remains at No. 9, followed by Erassa (26th) and Shadrack Kipchirchir (29th). Kipchirchir (eighth) and Girma Mecheso (11th) hold steady in the 5,000 meters, and Nick Miller moves up to No. 23 in the weight throw.
