Cowgirl Tennis Ranked 33rd

April 9, 2013

Oklahoma State’s women’s tennis team fell two spots to No. 33 in the latest team rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Tuesday.

The Cowgirls’ slight drop in the rankings comes despite two convincing victories over West Virginia and Iowa State last weekend.

Senior Malika Rose remains in the singles rankings this week, coming in at No. 72. Rose also makes an appearance in the ITA doubles rankings with teammate Kanyapat Narattana. The Cowgirl duo is up 11 spots to No. 37 in this week’s rankings.

The Cowgirls will look to boost their national ranking this weekend when they host No. 32 TCU on Friday at 3 p.m., and 35th-ranked Baylor at 1 p.m., at the DeBois Tennis Complex in Stillwater.
