Cowgirl Tennis Travels to Kansas for a Pair of Big 12 Matches

STILLWATER, Okla.—The No. 56 Oklahoma State women’s tennis team travels to Kansas this weekend to take on Kansas and Kansas State.

The Cowgirls (6-3, 0-1 Big 12) will face Kansas State on Friday at 1 p.m. in Wamego, Kan., in the Wildcats’ first conference match of the season. Led by No. 24 Petra Niedermayerova, who is 9-1 in dual play, KSU is 4-6 on the season entering the match.

OSU leads the series 31-6 with the last meeting between the teams resulting in a 4-3 win for Kansas State.

The Cowgirls will travel to Lawrence, Kan., Sunday to take on the Jayhawks at 11 a.m. Kansas (7-2, 0-0 Big 12) is coming off a 7-0 loss to Tulsa and will begin Big 12 play against the Sooners on Friday before facing the Cowgirls.

OSU leads the Jayhawks, 23-17, in the all-time series.  

The Cowgirls return to Stillwater for dual play March 23 when they face Missouri.
