
Feb. 18, 2012 STILLWATER, Okla. - The Cowgirl tennis team will go head to head with the Iowa Hawkeyes (3-0) at noon Sunday at the DeBois Tennis Complex in Stillwater. The Cowgirls, 3-1 on the season, are led by No. 52 doubles team Kanyapat Narattana and Malika Rose. The pair is 1-1this season. C.C. Sardinha and Isabela Miro remain undefeated in doubles with a 4-0 record. Rose leads the team in singles victories with four, while three Cowgirls, Meghan Blevins, Mary Jeremiah and Miro, each have three wins. The Hawkeyes are led by No. 109 Sonja Molnar, who is 3-0 on the season in singles play. Both teams head into the match having won the doubles point in each of their matches this season. The Cowgirls lead the Hawkeyes 2-1 in the all-time series. The last time the two teams faced each other was in 1993 when the Hawkeyes walked away with a 5-2 victory.
