STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State Cowgirl tennis team will take on the Wichita State Shockers in its first home match for the year Saturday at 2 p.m. at the DeBois Tennis Complex in Stillwater. The Cowgirls, fresh off a pair of 6-1 wins against Missouri-Kansas City and Oral Roberts, are 2-0 on the year. The freshman team of Mary Jeremiah and Meghan Blevins is undefeated heading into the match, 2-0. Five Cowgirls are 2-0 in singles play, including C.C. Sardinha, Malika Rose, Blevins, Jeremiah and spring enrollee Isabela Miro. Wichita State (3-0) has also faced UMKC and ORU this season, defeating them, 7-0 and 4-0, respectively. This dual is the last chance to watch the Cowgirls play at home until Feb. 19 when they take on Iowa.
