Matches at Nos. 1, 2 and 4 were taken to a third set where No. 114 C.C. Sardinha fell to No. 91 Anastasia Erofeeva at No. 1 and Malika Rose was outscored by No. 67 Samantha Vickers at the No. 2 spot. "It was a tight match that could have gone either way," coach Chris Young said. "We lost the doubles today for the first time in a while. That kind of set the tone. Our girls competed well, and I'm proud of them for that." The Cowgirls travel to Texas for a weekend of Big 12 play against No. 22 Texas Tech and No. 13 Baylor.
