Stillwater, Okla. - The Oklahoma State softball team will host a doubleheader against Rogers State on Wednesday night at 5 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium. This is the second doubleheader of the fall season for the Cowgirls. OSU defeated Oklahoma Christian last week with scores of 7-1 and 19-1. Sophomore Julie Ward collected three hits and four runs batted in during the first game where every starter from the past season returned. Senior Anna Whiddon threw five scoreless innings, allowing only three hits and striking out eight. The Cowgirl freshmen made their debut in the second game with OCU. Kat Espinoza threw the complete game for Oklahoma State and gave up one run off two hits while striking out eight. Third baseman Katie Asher went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a home run, a double and four RBIs.
